Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai believes that one of the most valuable decisions a young professional can make is to work alongside people who inspire them to improve. Speaking on the Lex Fridman podcast, Pichai said he has sought out colleagues whose skills and expertise exceeded his own throughout his career. Pichai joined Google in 2004 as a product manager and rose through the ranks to become CEO in 2015.
