Google Play Games has been beefed up into a unified experience where achievements, rewards and community all live under one umbrella. A “gamer profile” lets users track stats and achievements across different games and devices.   Rewards are now more integrated too—Play Points will span both mobile and PC, and Google is launching Play Games Leagues, where users can compete, earn rewards, and build community engagement. The first such league will be Subway Surfers, running October 10 to October 23.

Another highlight is the upcoming Play Games Sidekick, an overlay that surfaces relevant game info, tips, and access to Gemini Live for real-time, AI-powered help—all without leaving the game.
