Esports Awards 2025: IShowSpeed crowned streamer of the year, S8UL wins in the best group category

The Esports Awards 2025, in its 10th anniversary, once again celebrated the players, teams and groups that made a big impact in competitive gaming this year. Popular YouTube streamer IShowSpeed clinched the Streamer of the Year award, while League of Legends won Esports Game of the Year.

The Esports Awards 2025, an annual awards ceremony honouring achievements in the video game industry, celebrated its 10th anniversary in Las Vegas on November 19, marking excellence in content creation and influencer recognition. Hosted at the iconic HyperX Arena, the night celebrated winners across 24 categories and introduced the inaugural members of the Lifetime Achievement in Esports: Class of 2025.

American streamer Darren Watkins, famously known as IShowSpeed, clinched the coveted Streamer of the Year title. He won the title, among other popular nominees, including Kai Cenat and Ibai Llanos. It is also the first time IShowSpeed has clinched the award, as he lost last year to Mexican Twitch streamer Samanta “Rivers” Rivera Trevino.

Meanwhile, the prominent Indian esports and gaming content organisation, S8UL, was awarded Esports Content Group of the Year for a record fourth consecutive time. League of Legends took home the title of Esports Game of the Year, and PUBG Mobile was recognised as Esports Mobile Game of the Year.
