Battlefield 6 Battle Royale test: Tactical destruction, Classes, Training and Traits

Electronic Arts and Battlefield Labs began testing the Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6 this week. The testing is taking place on an entirely new map built specifically for Battle Royale (BR). Battlefield 6 BR will borrow some of the conventional elements of Battle Royale modes seen in different games till now, such as 4-player squads, a total player cap of 100, and the ability to pick soldier classes. However, it is going to be markedly different and certainly more trying for players when it comes to how the Battle Royale ring works. Now, we will take a look at what to expect with Character Classes, Training, Traits and other related aspects of Battlefield 6 Battle Royale.

Battlefield 6 Battle Royale test: Destruction is everywhere
Battlefield 6 players can expect destruction to be everywhere in the Battle Royale mode. “From creating pathways through walls to toppling buildings, we look forward to seeing players’ ingenuity with destruction and how they use it to defeat their opponents”, the developers said in a website post.

Battlefield 6 Battle Royale test: Classes, Training and Traits

• As a squad, you’ll have full freedom to plan and choose which of the classes you want. It can be a squad consisting of all soldiers from one class or a mix of different classes. But, once a match begins, players won't be able to change their class for the rest of that match.


• The Intel Cases are important as they provide XP to the whole squad. So, keep a lookout for them during the match.


• Levelling up through one’s class’s Training unlocks access to new Traits that will enhance one's chosen class. The new Traits will give both the player and his/her squad a tactical edge in the match. For example, if the Assault class gains the ability to equip an armour plate faster, it would make them harder to defeat in their current or next matches.


• Also, “between the Support class revives and Mobile Redeploy options, there are multiple tools to keep your squad in the fight”, the devs added.
