Tata Motors on May 1 said its total wholesales rose 11.5 percent year-on-year to 77,521 units last month as compared with 69,599 units in April 2023.

Automaker Maruti Suzuki India reported a 4.7 percent increase in total sales at 1,68,089 units in April. The company had dispatched a total of 1,60,529 units to its dealers in the same month last year.

MG Motors India on Wednesday said its retail sales declined 1.45 percent year on year to 4,485 units in April.

Electric two-wheeler maker Ola Electric saw its market share go up to 50 percent in April, with sales recorded at 33,062 units even as the overall EV two-wheeler market witnessed a sharp decline in sales of nearly 52 percent percent month-on-month (MoM) to 64,013 units in April, as per data available at the Vahan website on May 1.

Eicher Motors Ltd on Wednesday said its arm VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd posted an 18.1 per cent year-on-year decline in total sales to 5,377 units in April 2024.

Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield reported a 12 percent increase in total sales to 81,870 units in April as against 73,136 units in the same month a year ago.
