Apple today introduced the Apple Watch Series 10, a significant upgrade to its popular smartwatch lineup. The Series 10 boasts a larger display, a brighter OLED screen, and a sleeker, thinner design.
Marking the tenth anniversary of the smartwatch's introduction, the Series 10 introduces a refreshed design and several new features.
The Series 10 boasts a slightly larger screen size and a thinner, more streamlined case, offering a more modern and comfortable fit. The overall design language remains consistent with the Series 9, but the subtle refinements enhance the overall aesthetic.
Apple has expanded the Series 10's colour options, introducing a new Jet Black finish in frost aluminum. Additionally, the watch will be available in Warm Rose Gold and Silver Aluminum.
One of the most surprising announcements was the introduction of a titanium version of the Series 10. This premium material is 20% lighter than stainless steel, making the watch even more comfortable to wear. The titanium version is available in three distinct colour options.
The Series 10 is the thinnest-ever Apple Watch and in comparison to the Series 9, it's 10% slimmer. Apple has also improved charging speed, allowing users to achieve 80% battery life in just 30 minutes.
The watch is powered by a custom S10 Apple Silicon processor and features a 4-core Neural Engine, making it smarter and more capable than ever before. Watch Series 10 also supports double-tap gestures, on-device Siri dictation and automatic workout detection.
Additionally, it also comes loaded with safety features such as Crash Detection and Fall Detection. Apple has also updated Smart Stack and has redesigned the Photo Face and Translation app in watchOS 11.
Watch Series 10 features a wide-angle OLED display that's more power efficient, and supports faster refresh rate in the always-on mode.
Apple Watch Series 10 also comes with a new Flux watch face that features a bold graphic design that fills the entire screen with colour second by second. Apart from this, the titanium version comes with a Reflections watch feature with a shimmering dial that reacts to the user's movements.
Apple has also added a larger charging coil that gives the fastest charging capabilities on Apple Watch ever. Apple claims that the Watch Series 10 can charge up to 30 per cent in just 30 minutes.
Apple Watch Series 10 introduces two key features: sleep apnea notifications and enhanced water activity capabilities. The sleep apnea feature uses the accelerometer to track breathing disturbances, which are recorded in the Health app and can alert users if signs of sleep apnea are detected.
Users can access detailed data and reports for healthcare consultations. Additionally, the watch offers depth and temperature sensors for water activities, displaying key information in the Depth app. A new Tides app provides tidal forecasts for coastlines, while the Oceanic+ app.

Apple Watch Series 10 price starts at Rs 46,900 for the 42mm and Rs 49,900 for 46mm.
