Using Apple Intelligence on an iPhone requires the iPhone model to be powered by an A17 Pro chipset as the Neural Engine on the A17 Pro is powerful enough for Apple Intelligence to be deployed. Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are powered by the A17 Pro and, hence, fit the bill. Although, we expect all the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 series models to be powered by Apple Intelligence.
