AMD announces new range of Ryzen AI processors at CES 2025: Processor details, new technologies and more

At CES 2025, AMD unveiled its latest advancements in AI-focused PC processors, expanding its consumer and commercial portfolio. The lineup includes the AMD Ryzen AI Max, Ryzen AI Max PRO, Ryzen AI 300 Series, Ryzen AI 300 PRO, and Ryzen AI 200 Series processors. These processors aim to deliver enhanced AI capabilities, enterprise-grade performance, and next-generation computing for both everyday users and businesses.

AMD Ryzen AI Max and Ryzen AI Max pro series processors details

AMD introduced the Ryzen AI Max and Ryzen AI Max PRO processors targeting high-performance and professional use cases. These processors feature up to 16 “Zen 5” CPU cores, 40 AMD RDNA 3.5 GPU compute units, and an AMD XDNA 2 Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with up to 50 TOPS of AI processing power. The Ryzen AI Max PRO models also integrate AMD PRO Technologies, ensuring enhanced security and manageability for enterprise users.

The Ryzen AI 300 Series processors extend AMD’s AI capabilities to mainstream users. With up to 8 “Zen 5” cores, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and NPUs providing up to 50 TOPS, these processors are designed to handle modern AI applications efficiently.

The Ryzen AI 300 PRO processors offer similar features tailored for enterprise environments, incorporating AMD PRO Technologies for added security and manageability.
