Alcatel is officially making a comeback in India, and the brand’s first phone in this new chapter is called the Alcatel V3 Ultra. Leading the launch is Madhav Sheth, the former Realme India head, who shared a first look at the phone’s design in a post on X (formerly Twitter), sparking excitement among tech fans.

From what we know so far, the phone is designed with a mix of elegance and functionality. The box proudly highlights Alcatel’s French roots, while also stressing on its “Made in India” status. The phone will come with stylus support, allowing users to sketch, scribble, sign documents, and highlight text.

While Sheth hasn’t shared full specs yet, the box design gives us a fair idea of what to expect. There’s a round triple-camera setup with a flashlight module on the back, aligned to the left. On the front, it looks like we’ll see a central punch-hole selfie camera. The phone also seems to include a new mystery button alongside the usual power and volume controls — possibly similar to the NxtPaper Key seen on TCL’s 50 Pro NxtPaper.

If that’s true, the button could toggle different display modes — like a monochrome Ink Mode to reduce eye strain and save battery, or special modes for reading, watching videos, and scrolling. Alcatel has hinted at a “brand-new display tech that’s easy on the eyes and big on impact.”
