Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has found himself at the centre of controversy once again. His wife, Sannia Ashfaq, recently posted a cryptic message on Instagram amid ongoing rumours linking the cricketer to social media influencer Naila Raja.
Sannia wrote, “Silence should not be considered as consent or lack of evidence. I am just choosing the right time after thinking carefully.”

Her statement has sparked widespread discussion within Pakistan's cricketing circles.
Social media influencer Naila Raja has already come forward to deny the rumours, calling them “baseless” and “misleading.”

Just a few days earlier, Sannia Ashfaq had shared a cryptic post on Instagram, announcing the birth of her and Imad Wasim’s third child, Zayan. Notably, there was no mention of Imad in the post.
The caption read: “I carried you alone in my womb for 9 months. May God give me more strength for the journey ahead, Zayan.”
Imad has been making headlines for the wrong reasons lately, including an incident during the PSL 2024 final. Wasim was seen smoking a cigarette in the dressing room shortly after delivering a match-defining performance for Islamabad United.
The moment, captured on camera during the 18th over of Multan Sultans' innings—after Wasim had completed his bowling spell—quickly made its way to social media, stirring debate among fans and followers.
Despite the off-field controversy, Wasim was later named Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round display with both bat and ball.
