Mohammed Siraj is a hot custodian to deal with and Marnus Labuschagne got a taste of his temper on Day 1 of the first Test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth. Siraj was vividly angry with Labuschagne's act as the pacer tried to execute a run-out off his own bowling. The incident took place in the 13th over, which also led to Siraj giving the Aussie an earful and followed it with a death stare.

Siraj was particularly triggered after Labuschagne pushed the ball away with the bat as he saw the bowler charging towards it in an attempt to execute a run-out with his foot. Siraj's anger was justified as the Aussie was outside his crease, when he committed the foul play.

Virat Kohli, who had earlier dropped Labuschagne at 0, also wasn't pleased with the act. He came running down from the slip cordon, asked for the ball and dislodged the bails.

Meanwhile, the bowler had the final laugh as he got rid of the batter in final delivery of the 21st over, trapping him LBW for 2(52).

Apart from Labuschagne, Siraj also removed Mitchell Marsh, who was brilliantly caught by KL Rahul for 6 at slips. Australia eventually finished Day 1 at 67/7, still trailing by 83 runs. Alex Carey, who is batting on 19, will resume proceedings on Day 2 with tail-ender Mitchell Starc, who is on 6.
