India A captain Jitesh Sharma continued with the 'no handshake' policy during the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 match against Pakistan A on Sunday (November 16), reported PTI. The step is to show solidarity with the victims of Pahalgam terror attack. The trend began with Suryakumar Yadav refusing to shake hands with Pakistan at the senior men's Asia Cup. The women cricketers maintained the stance at the Women's World Cup too.

Both team went their separate ways after the national anthems. Pakistan Shaheens won the toss and opted to field first.
