The furious altercation between Prithvi Shaw and Musheer Khan during the three-day Mumbai vs Maharashtra warm-up match is set to be investigated by legendary Indian cricketer Dilip Vengasarkar. Shaw got into a heated argument with Musheer Khan on the first day of the match after the off-spinner dismissed him.

Shaw was holed out at deep fine leg after attempting a sweep shot but failing to time it. A heated argument broke out between him and Musheer as he began to make his way back to the pavilion. When Shaw threw his bat toward his former teammates out of obvious frustration, the situation became heated. In order to prevent things from getting worse, the umpire intervened quickly.
