When will the Blood Moon appear?
The lunar eclipse will take place on 7 September 2025. It will be visible from India, Russia, China, Eastern Africa, and Western Australia. In India, residents of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh will all get a clear chance to see it. Weather conditions, such as cloud cover or pollution, may affect visibility in some regions.

The eclipse will begin at 8:58 pm and continue until 1:25 am on 8 September. Astronomers say the most striking phase of the eclipse will occur between 11:00 pm and 12:22 am, when the Moon will take on its deep red glow.
