Travellers on the Yamuna Expressway now have a new landmark to admire—the tallest statue of Lord Krishna in India. Standing at an impressive 108 feet, the statue was recently unveiled by Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Tourism, Jaiveer Singh, along with Mathura’s Member of Parliament and Bollywood actor Hema Malini.

The magnificent statue is located at Gaur Yamuna City, a sprawling 250-acre township developed by Gaurs Group. The unveiling ceremony was attended by renowned singer Kailash Kher, adding a spiritual and cultural touch to the event.

Jaiveer Singh expressed his confidence that this statue will become a major attraction for tourists and devotees traveling along the Yamuna Expressway. He emphasized that it will not only boost tourism but also contribute to the local economy by creating employment opportunities and fostering business growth.

Manoj Gaur, Chairman and Managing Director of Gaurs Group, described the statue as a grand tribute to Lord Krishna’s divine grace and legacy. He highlighted its significance as a symbol of faith that will draw pilgrims and tourists en route to Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura.
