Who wouldn’t like to have a potted plant on the work desk to make one feel relaxed and inspired? With our enthusiasm for plants, well-crafted wood and desk items; the Eco Pot designed by Ukraine-based industrial designer Julia Kononenko is the perfect example of sustainability and functionality. The lovely looking accessory (made from light birch bark) comes in a square shape and two levels. While its lower part features small rounded piercings which can be used for displaying writing objects (pens, pencils, markers etc); the upper level is reserved for a miniature garden that can serve as inspiration (and oxygen) as the day unfolds. The integrated pen holder comes in two sizes, for various degrees of thickness. As for the planted area, you can choose an existing design or customize your own, in accordance to your desk. Julia, a graduate of Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts has the Spider Light, Water Map, Concrete Flowerpots, Convertible Sofa, Time Board, Photo Frame Lamp and some more ingenious products to her credit. www.kononenkoid.com
