Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud in a response to former CJI Ranjan Gogoi’s statement on the basic structure doctrine in Rajya Sabha while debating in support of the Delhi Ordinance bill, said that ex-Judges’ remarks are opinions, not diktats.
