"We all know how much infrastructure India needs and every rupee spent on infrastructure and capital expenditure has a multiplier impact on our economy," Gupta said.
2.) Focus on employment and youth employment
The Edelweiss Mutual Funds CEO and Shark Tank India judge added, "Our biggest demographic advantage is our young people and we need to provide them with skills and jobs over the next few years and decades."
3.) Capital market stability
"A lot of money has come into equity markets via stocks, mutual funds into SIPs. We need to ensure an environment of stable taxation. In fact, incentives for our young people in har-ghar (every household) to invest.
The Union Budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025 will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 11 am in the Parliament.
Following the presentation, the Union Budget 2024 documents, including the PDF of the full budget and detailed breakdowns, will be available online. You can access these documents in both Hindi and English on the government’s official website www.indiabudget.gov.in.
Why is the Union Budget presented in July this year?
Traditionally, the Union Budget is presented in February. But, due to the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and the subsequent formation of a new government, the 2024-2025 Budget is scheduled for July 23. This allows the new administration to outline its financial strategy and policy priorities for the coming year.
