A prominent Ukrainian crypto trader was found dead in Kyiv following a major market downturn, with police treating the case as a possible suicide. Konstantin Galich, known online as Kostya Kudo, was discovered on October 11 in the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, inside a Lamborghini Urus. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. A firearm registered in his name was recovered at the scene, according to a statement from the Kyiv Police Department shared on Telegram, The New York Post reported.

Authorities said they are investigating whether the death was self-inflicted or involved foul play. “The man told relatives that he was feeling depressed due to financial difficulties and also sent them a farewell message,” the police statement noted.

Farewell message and financial distress
Galich, who had built a following in Ukraine’s crypto trading community, reportedly expressed emotional distress to family members the day before his death. The farewell message, combined with the presence of a registered weapon, has led investigators to consider suicide as the primary line of inquiry.

A message posted on Galich’s official Telegram channel confirmed the news: “Konstantin Kudo tragically passed away. The causes are being investigated. We will keep you posted on any further news.”
