The Al Ain Palace Museum is the former residence of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was the Founding Father and first president of the United Arab Emirates. The Palace Museum is built in typical Al Ain architecture with roofs made using palm trees.

There are wide-open vents which help to naturally cool the rooms. Visitors can get an insight into the life of the ruling family at the private family residence which is spread across two floors. There are various other rooms including one where coffee was prepared. The water well is also located on the premises.
