In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Ayaz Memon, cricket expert, gave his views on India's performance for the World Cup 2011 and the finals against Sri Lanka. Menon said that the match was cued in favour of India.

He further stated, "The Indian team has performed wonderfully throughout this tournament and in crunch situations. Every time the situation got a little difficult, they came up triumphs."

"The match against Pakistan was an excruciating battle of nerves. Many people believed that Sachin Tendulkar got four lives for the India-Pakistan semifinal match, but it was his clumsiest innings of the world cup. I have a conviction about the Indian team that they can pull themselves out of the hole when the time gets tough and difficult. Indian team has the burning ambition to win this world cup
