Sheetal Devi made the country proud after bagging two gold medals for India at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou. Congratulatory messages poured in from all over for the 16-year-old armless archer and even Anand Mahindra lauded her achievement.
The Mahindra Group Chairman hailed Devi’s unbeatable spirit and called her a “teacher to all”. As a token of his praise, he asked her to choose any car from the Mahindra lineup that would suit her requirements. The industrialist also vowed to never complain about petty problems in his life.
''I will never, EVER again complain about petty problems in my life. #SheetalDevi you are a teacher to us all. Please pick any car from our range & we will award it to you & customise it for your use,'' he wrote while sharing a video of the young archer’s inspiring journey.
The post received an outpouring of love from social media users and swiftly garnered traction online.

We knew she would do it.
