Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg turned 40 on May 14 and celebrated his birthday in a super interesting way. For the occasion, his wife Priscilla Chan recreated some of the places that he lived in his early days. Zuckerberg took to Instagram to post a string of pictures of the same and also shared glimpses from his intimate birthday party.
The first picture saw Zuckerberg in his recreated childhood bedroom where he learned to code followed by a picture of the Harvard dorm where he launched Facebook. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, whom Zuckerberg called a “special guest”, was also present to celebrate.
The following pictures showed a bunch of other places like his first apartment and a pizzeria where he “basically lived in college”. He also shared glimpses from his birthday bash and a heartwarming video that his loved ones had created for the special occasion. The montage had his childhood pictures and wholesome messages from his near and dear ones, including Priscilla.
For his birthday, the 40-year-old wore a black t-shirt with jeans and also sported a chain. "Grateful for my first 40 years! Priscilla threw me a little party and recreated a bunch of places I lived in the early days. Here's to the next 40," read the caption of the post.

Instead of a buzz around the latest update, social media users were more interested in the doctored image that showed Zuckerberg in a never-seen-before avatar with facial hair.
The viral picture also earned a reaction from wife Priscilla, who shared it on her Instagram Stories and teased her husband’s rugged look.
