Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh meets Kapil Dev on flight: 'Grateful that I met the legend'

Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh had a surprise encounter with India's 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev on a flight, recently.

Alagh shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) with the 65-year-old former India captain and also revealed the three lessons she had learnt from him during the two-hour long flight.

Alagh also said that she found out during the interaction that both of them had studied in the same school in Chandigarh and added that she was grateful to have met him.

"Me and @therealkapildev Paji shared a 2 hour long flight and the lessons I learnt are invaluable : > Don’t play to win, play for passion. > Focus on your children’s character, not scores. > Treat challenges as an adventure, not problems. I even found out we have the same hometown, Chandigarh and we both went to DAV 15 for schooling! The flight was serendipitous, so grateful that I met the legend ," she wrote on Friday.
Alagh's post saw a lot of user comments, many of whom shared their admiration for her encounter with the former India captain.

"Wonderful ! What a great experience it must have been," one user wrote.
