'You should use Google and see who has got the most number of runs in a Test over,' Jasprit Bumrah replied.

Billionaire Elon Musk and Google CEO Sundar Pichai recently reacted to Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah's witty remarks to a journalist, which have since gone viral. The exchange occurred during a press conference on Day 3 of the ongoing Test series against Australia, held at the Gabba.

A journalist questioned Bumrah, 31, about his thoughts on India's batting performance: "What is your assessment of the batting, although you are not the best person to answer the question, but what do you think about the situation of the team, considering the conditions in Gabba?"

Bumrah, known for his bowling but also holding the record for the most runs scored in a single Test over, responded with humour: "It's an interesting question. But, you are questioning my batting ability. You should use Google and see who has got the most number of runs in a Test over. But, jokes apart. That's another story."

Google CEO Sundar Pichai, an ardent cricket fan, took to X (formerly Twitter) after watching Bumrah's remarks. He wrote on Monday: "I did Google it. Anyone who can hook Cummins for a six knows how to bat! Well done @Jaspritbumrah93. Saving the follow on with Deep!"

Elon Musk, who owns X, replied to Pichai’s post within 12 minutes with a one-word comment and wrote, "Nice,", sparking further engagement.
