Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh on Monday hit back at an X user who slammed the company's products and advised people to throw them "in the dustbin". Alagh said that Mamaearth's products come with her personal guarantee and she is open to addressing customers' concerns even on social media.

It started when X user Aditi (@Sassy_Soul_), who has more than 80,000 followers, shared a picture of Mamaearth's Vitamin C and Uptan facewash and wrote: "If you see these products anywhere, immediately pick them up, throw them in the dustbin, and run away."

Responding to the post, Alagh wrote, "Just sorry you woke up with a lot of hate. I hope you feel better soon. I would have loved to address if there was a problem. But I couldn’t find any apart from you hopping onto a Twitter trend and finding a picture of the products. Quality on Mamaearth is my personal guarantee, and I am here to address each and every concern that you, or anyone on Twitter might have. I am DM away and if any of my consumers have feedback or issue with any Mamaearth product, I will get back to them."

Accordingly, in a separate tweet, Aditi addressed her concerns with the company's products and called them ineffective. "Myself, my family members, and friends have used your products, and I haven't seen even one product working effectively. Everyone wasted their hard-earned money, and some have been using them for years. What's the point of spending money on products that don't work at all?" the social media influencer said. "You guys can't handle honest reviews from customers, so you asked which products I have a problem with and said you would change them. I want to tell you that all your products are terrible, you should change all of them."

The exchange on X had users divided with one section batting for the company's products while another agreed that the items are indeed not as effective as they are advertised to be.
