Elon Musk reacts as 'childless cat lady' Taylor Swift supports Kamala Harris: 'I will give you a child'

Elon Musk, who welcomed his twelfth child in June, has been a vocal advocate for people producing more babies while Taylor Swift identified herself as a 'childless cat lady' -- a reference to comments made by Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance in 2021 about 'childless cat ladies' running the country.

After Taylor Swift announced on Tuesday that she would be voting for Vice President Kamala Harris following her presidential debate against opponent Donald Trump, Elon Musk--a vocal critic of US President Joe Biden had a humourous take on it.

The owner of X took to the social media platform and wrote, "Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life." Musk welcomed his twelfth child in June this year.

The comment was a reference to Trump's controversial statements on the televised debate where he accused immigrants of eating pets. “In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs — the people that came in — they’re eating the cats, they’re eating the pets of the people that live there. And this is what’s happening in our country,” the former US President said, contradicting the Springfield city manager, who said such accusations had no basis.

Moreover, Taylor Swift is a proud mother to three cats.

Announcing her support for Harris on Instagram with a picture of one of her pets, Swift wrote, "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."
