A three-month-long search for a lost pet came to a heartwarming conclusion on Saturday when a Gurgaon couple finally reunited with their dog in Agra. The 10-year-old Indian breed, named Greyhound, was found wandering in the dense forests near the Taj Mahal, nearly 90 days after she went missing.

Dipayan Ghosh and Kasturi Patra, Greyhound’s owners, left no stone unturned in their desperate attempt to locate their pet. Their exhaustive search spanned drone surveillance, CCTV footage analysis, door-to-door inquiries, and a Rs 50,000 reward.

According to the Times of India, the couple had checked into a hotel in Agra in early November, along with their two dogs, Woof and Greyhound, to celebrate the Diwali long weekend.

However, on November 3, while the couple was visiting Fatehpur Sikri, they received an urgent call from their hotel. Greyhound had slipped her leash and disappeared.
