India to hit back depending on Pak response: ex-Foreign Secy

After the DGMO said that the Indian Army conducted a surgical strike across LoC last night, Kanwal Sibal, former Foreign Secretary, in an interview with CNBC-TV18, said India will escalate the situation according to how Pakistan reacts to this news.Sibal applauded the government's robust reaction and said this kind of an attack is very necessary. He said the decision to Conduct Counter Terrorist Operations have been taken after a lot of deliberation.Journalist Shekhar Gupta said there is definitely going to be a response from the Pakistan army and said this move definately counts as escalation.
