Speaking to CNBC-TV18, veteran editor AK Bhattacharya of Business Standard said Swamy's comments need to be seen in the "larger context" -- that he may be representing the views of the RSS.
He added that it appears the government and the Sangh have not reconciled and the public criticism of a key member of the party would be a worrying development for the lay observer.
