No tears will be shed as Maran hits end-game: Cho

Central minister Dayanidhi Maran now faces heat from all sides. The CBI has told the Supreme Court today that the ex-telecom minister did not act on the advise of DoT officials, but intentionally blocked lisenses to Sivashankaran and forced him to sell off in the Aircel stake sale case.


Cho Ramaswamy, political analyst and editor of Tughlak magazine tells CNBC-TV18 that the find is not a revelation and it was quite expected that this would be the end of the game for Dayanidhi Maran. In fact, Maran does not share a good rapport with the DMK leadership anymore and it is most likely that Karunanidhi will leave the man to his fate, he says. Below is the verbatim transcript.
