The interim bail application of former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has been deferred to October 20.
Yeddyurappa, who is slated to get discharged from hospital on Tuesday, will now go to jail till the hearing of the plea takes places.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was remanded to judicial custody till October 22 by a Special Lokayukta Court in two alleged land scam cases.
Yeddyurappa on Monday had filed a bail petition, including an interim bail plea, in the Karnataka High Court.
He had surrendered on Saturday after the Lokayukta court denied him bail in two land denotification cases. He was taken to jail but later on Saturday, but had to be rushed to a hospital after he complained of chest pain and spent the last three days there.
