A special CBI court in Delhi on Saturday started recording statement of Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy, who is seeking prosecution of Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G spectrum scam case.

Swamy has alleged that former telecom minister A Raja and Chidambaram were involved in the 2G scam together and compromised national security.
Before entering the court, Swamy on Saturday said, "I shall be meeting as a complainant. My statement will be recorded. I plan to introduce the new document. We have many cases against P Chidambaram now. I will make a mention of other presentations. I have filed it all the letters exchanged between Chidambaram and PM and meetings with the A Raja. Parliament has its own morality and standards. I support whatever the BJP is doing."
Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy claimed he has many cases against Home Minister P Chidambaram.
The court had earlier on December 8 accepted Swamy's plea to argue his case against Chidambaram in the 2G case. The court had also accepted the petition to examine Sports Secretary Sindhushree Khullar, who was then joint secretary finance, and Joint Director of the CBI, HC Awasthi.
The court had informed Swamy that the list of witnesses, which he had filed with his application, for summoning some senior CBI officials and other public servants to press his case would be allowed only after he could explain the relevance of their testimony.
The judge had also said Swamy could lead evidence in support of his complaint as he has referred to the role of other conspirators in it.
Swamy also alleged that Chidambaram allowed Swan telecom and Unitech to sell equity to Etisalat and Telenor.
