While participating in the debate over Lokpal Bill in the Lok Sabha, Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday said that the anti-corruption bill would not end corruption.

"Lokpal Bill will not end corruption. Bill lacks so many things. Democracy is bigger than the Lokpal. Parliament represents the aspirations of people. Nothing can be above it. MPs fear people. Because they get elected by them," Yadav said. "The accusations made against the CBI can also be made against the Lokpal. This Lok Pal Bill is not good enough," he added.
