Industrialist Anand Mahindra extended hearty congratulations to the family of a tractor dealer in Punjab where the “baraat” went on 12 decorated tractors.
The Mahindra Group Chairman shared a short clip of the groom’s wedding procession – 12 families atop 12 tractors – all following each other as they go to the marriage ceremony. The clip also features the bride and groom posing on a tractor.
Other family members in the wedding procession also danced for the camera on the tractors as the procession proceeded.
“Now THAT’S what I call being a member of the family! Badhai ho badhai,” Mahindra tweeted with the clip.
The wedding was at the family of the Sangrur branch dealer of Swaraj Tractors, a top brand in the country.
Swaraj Tractors was established in 1974 and today is a rapidly growing company and has a wide portfolio of tractors and farm machinery. The company, on its website, says they manufacture a range of tractors from “11.18 kW to 48.47 kW (15Hp-65Hp) for various farming needs including 4WD tractor for wetland and specialized tractors for horticulture.”
Mahindra’s followers were amused by the video.
