Intel may have leaked Windows 12 release date

A transcript of fireside chat of Intel's CFO David Zinsner suggests that Windows 12 could be released in early 2024

Intel may have inadvertently leaked the release date for Microsoft's next big iteration of its PC operating system, Windows 12. According to tech publication Seeking Alpha, a transcript of the fireside chat with Intel's CFO David Zinsner teased the release date.

"We actually think '24 is going to be a pretty good year for client, in particular, because of the Windows refresh," the transcript quoted Zinsner as saying.

It is the word "refresh" that has caught the attention. It suggests the giant has something bigger planned than a simple update. It could mean a potential release date for Windows 12.
