The Vice President of Microsoft's Strategic AI Initiatives, Mary Snapp has played a pivotal role in legal counsel for engineering and leadership in Global Philanthropies.
Snapp began her career as a Writer and Speaker for General Motors, teaching live science and technology seminars in high schools. She later went on to join the shareholder relations group at the company.

Snapp then joined K&L Gates as a legal associate for four years before signing up with Microsoft as a Senior Attorney in 1988. She has been with the Redmond technology company since. As a lead attorney, Snapp has been part of various divisions within Microsoft including Office, Windows and Consulting Services.
At Microsoft, Snapp has also acted as the Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for the Microsoft Product and Services Group, and oversaw large acquisitions and mergers of MSNBC and Skype.

From there, Snapp then took a new role as Corporate Vice President for Microsoft's Philanthropies projects, and currently serves as Vice President for their Strategic Initiatives division.
