The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will launch in India on April 3

Motorola is all set to unveil a follow up device to the Motorola Edge 40. The company shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) that confirmed that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will arrive in India on April 3 and will be up for grabs on Flipkart, aside from Moto’s digital and offline sales channels. The device’s microsite on Flipkart has shared quite a few details of this upcoming device. There is speculation that the device might land in the Rs 30,000-35,000 price band. Here's what we already know:

Standout design: Moto has shared that the device will come in three colour ways. There are two variants – black and purple – which are likely to be finished in silicone vegan leather with a metal frame. The third option is a cream shade with a pearl finish that the brand claims is handcrafted in Italy. The device comes with IP68 underwater protection.

Under the hood: The device is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. We are likely to see 12GB of RAM under the hood.

Wireless charging: The device is likely to be packed with a 4500 mAh battery. Moto claims this is the first IP68-certified device that will offer 50W wireless charging aside from 125W of Motorola’s TurboPower charging. The microsite reveals that there will be a 68W charger in the box.
