Over the last few years, devices seem to have finally embraced the Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E standards first introduced in 2019 but as the world moves to Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7 is on the horizon.

The next generation wireless standard promises better speeds, ability to connect more devices together, low latency and faster data transfer rates.

What is Wi-Fi 7? 

Wi-Fi 7 is the latest in wireless network protocols that are commonly used for networking and internet access. While Wi-Fi 6 is just now beginning to pick up steam, it has been criticised as being an incremental update over Wi-Fi 5.
