Apple 16 leaked images hint at 'big' design changes

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 later this year in September. As always, the rumour mills are buzzing with what the new iPhones may have in store. A tipster by the name of Sonny Dickson has shared leaked images showcasing dummy units of the upcoming iPhone 16 series. The images, shared by Dickson on social media, reveal a couple of details for both the vanilla iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models, as well as the premium iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

As per the leaked images, all four iPhone 16 models will have a dedicated action button. Currently, this action button is exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro lineup only. Also, it is rumoured that all four iPhone 16 models could get an all-new capture button.

One of the most noticeable changes is the inclusion of a dedicated Capture button on all four iPhone 16 models. This button, positioned on the right side of the device, is rumoured to feature a physical design with a touch-sensitive surface that allows for zoom gestures.

The leaked images also suggest a change in camera layout for the vanilla iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Unlike their predecessors, these models appear to have a vertically aligned rear camera bump, potentially enabling them to record spatial video for Apple's Vision Pro.
