At the inaugural function of the 3rd LTE India 2012 International Conference at New Delhi organized by Bharat Exhibitions, the course of next generation wireless technology was discussed at length. The conference, now in its 3rd edition is the only one in the country dedicated to LTE (Long Term Evolution), and hence is one event to watch out for. At the event, it was discussed at length that with the Indian government completing the work of laying the optical fibre cable network, huge business opportunities would come its way, along with the rural areas benefitting, too. At the event, Shri J.K. Roy, Member Technology, Ministry of Communications & IT stated, "For an effective utilisation of the possibilities which can be offered by LTE (Long Term Evolution), back haul is one of the most important components. The optical fibre network which is being put in place by the Government of India will close this gap and there will be range of opportunities in the rural areas which can be availed by LTE technology providers.” Click here for full story
