The DVI video interface has been around for more than a decade now. VGA, has been around for even longer - more than two decades in all. Now, it looks like both these widely used PC video interfaces are going to become obsolete in the coming years. PC World Australia is carrying a story about these standards going extinct in the next five years, as per a report by NPD In-Stat. There’s been a clear trend where all devices from PCs to laptops have moved to HDMI and DisplayPort connectors.
