Over the past few days, if there had been any mention of Snapseed, there was a likely chance that it was because of its takeover by Google rather than the fact that it is a good photo-editing app for the iOS. Recently, Google acquired Nik Software, the developers of Snapseed. Like with most Google takeovers, the general impression was that the photo editing app would be sent into oblivion, and paved into a broader Google app. However, a report by Tech Crunch reveals that an image uploaded by Google’s Vic Gundotra using Snapseed on Google+ has been spotted.As per the report, “Google’s Vic Gundotra flew to Baltimore yesterday and happily shared a photo he took during his flight on Google+. Nothing special there, but what’s interesting is that he sent the photo to Google+ using Snapseed, the – until now – iOS-only, photo-sharing app and Instagram competitor that Google acquired last month when it bought Nik Software.” Click here for full story
