Avaya Announces New APAC Executive Appointments

Avaya, a provider of business communications and collaboration systems and services, has announced two enhancements to its Asia Pacific Leadership Team. Ray Teske will assume leadership of a Service Provider and Global Alliances business across the Asia Pacific geography, working predominantly with APAC Service Providers on bringing to market cloud-based communication capabilities and solutions for businesses across the region. This will span Unified Communications, Contact Centre, Video and Networking solutions ‘as a service’ and will ensure companies wanting to leverage cloud-based communications solutions have access to the same technology and innovation as customers with on-premises equipment. Teske and his team will leverage Avaya’s global and APAC experience in deploying cloud-based solutions, and continue to drive innovative hosted models and solutions to reduce cost of ownership and deployment for both service providers and end users. Teske has over 20 years of experience in the communications industry across enterprise, service provider and channel focused roles and was most recently Managing Director for the ASEAN business at Avaya.
