Huawei’s Chairman of devices, Richard Yu, popped into a Huawei store in Guangzhou, China recently and showed off the Ascend Mate, a 6.1-inch smartphone with a 1080p resolution display, according to a report by Engadget. The handset is expected to make its official debut at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013.It is rumoured that the Huawei Ascend Mate features a 1.8GHz quad-core HiSilicon K3V3 processor. Engadget notes that this 1080p display features a pixel density of 361ppi. Wu stated that this handset features a LTPS type display, which may mean that it has a low temperature polysilicon.
