RIM discontinues 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook

When Research in Motion had introduced their BlackBerry PlayBook last year, they had made the tablet available in three storage capacites - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Towards the end of last year, Research in Motion slashed the rates of their slates and the lowest model, the 16GB version was available for as low as Rs. 13,490, as part of a limited time offer and there isn't a lot of difference in the discounted price and the existing price and this gives potential tablet consumers the option of picking up a tablet from a big brand at quite a low price. However, Research in Motion has now killed off the 16GB version of the BlackBerry PlayBook, disappointing several hopefuls. Click here for full story
