Anonymous brings down Cert-in.org, site finally back up

Anonymous brought down the Government’s Computer Emergency Response Team for a substantial amount of time today, though the site cert.in-org is finally back to normalcy now. Anonymous mentioned on their Twitter account, "We will keep attacking http://cert-in.org.in and http://india.gov.in ! #GOI, ready to face ups and downs?" The website was down close to five hours back, but now seems to be working again. For those not in the know, Cert-in.org is India’s premier agency that deals with cyber security and it is the national nodal agency for responding to computer security incidents as and when they occur. Anonymous used the DDoS attack to completely flood the servers on which the site is located. Along with this, Anonymous UK tweeted, "#TangoDown http://cert-in.org.in #OpIndia want it down all day xD," showing support for the attack that was carried out.  Click here for full story
