Ravaging floods in Thailand have hit most hard drive companies hard. The shock waves of the tragedy are only now hitting PC and notebook manufacturers. Turns out Apple is feeling the pinch with their Mac desktops. If you’ve booked a Mac, you’ll get one on time, unless of course you chose to opt for a 2TB drive, instead of the standard one. AppleInsider states that users may have to wait for as long as 5 to 7 weeks for their Macs to ship with these large capacity drives. Most iMacs ship within 1 to 3 days in the U.S. Reportedly, the floods have affected Seagate and Western Digital, the most.
