At a major event held in Mumbai, LG announced its first quad-core handsets - the Optimus 4X HD and the L5, an Android based smartphone running on Ice Cream Sandwich straight out of the box. Along with these two handsets, the brand has also taken the wraps off two more L-series handsets, the L7 and L3, both of which are targeted at the mid and entry-level markets.The L series of handsets have been designed keeping style in mind as it features five elements that LG states will help it stand apart from the competition. LG explains that these five elements comprise of a modern square style for a comfortable grip, floating mass technology for a slimmer look, a seamless layout, a harmonized design contrast and sensuous slim shape.
