An official post on Android Developers brings some disappointment to the makers and the fans alike, of the Android platform. In a stat report published by Google, revealing the rate of adoption of all versions of Android released, the fact that Ice Cream Sandwich, Android's newest flavour is a far cry from being successful; it hasn't even been adopted by 1 percent of users, yet, was exposed. Elaborating a bit on the nature of the data revealed, the report states, "The following pie chart and table is based on the number of Android devices that have accessed Android Market within a 14-day period ending on the data collection date noted below."
